Every year, a large number of European agents, promoters, opera directors and festival managers are invited to Neumarkt to hold auditions, give seminars and to take part in roundtable discussions with the young artists, thus providing the networking and professional contacts important for young singers’ careers. Through the IMA-auditions, many of our participants have found prestigious management, opera companies have hired our singers, either in Fest-Contracts or as guests and there have also been engagements in opera studio programs. In the realm of concert, the IMA-auditions have also facilitated engagements for recitals and oratorio/orchestral concerts.
