Repertoire

For the audition or for the DVD in lieu of the audition

• Two opera arias, one in Italian, one in French or German
• One aria from Handel´s Messiah, in English
• One Lied by either Franz Schubert or Hugo Wolf
• One mélodie by Gabriel Fauré or one song by George Gershwin

For the six week residency

• Six opera arias total, of various styles and languages (one of the six arias may be an operetta aria, one must be an aria of the 20th century, one must be in German)
• The entire role of your voice-type in Handel´s Messiah, in English
• Three Lieder of Schubert and three Lieder of Wolf, including the Lied sung in the audition.
• Three mélodies by Gabriel Fauré and three songs by George Gershwin.
